There is so much we can learn that would make our lives easier. Listed below are 10 things that can be learned and performed in a minute or less and can make the load that little bit lighter.
1. ULTIMATE ELEVATOR HACK
To go directly to your floor, press and hold the CLOSE >|< button before the doors close. Press and hold the button for your floor while still pressing the CLOSE >|< button. When the elevator starts to move, release the buttons. You will pass all other floors.
2. CHEW GUM TO AVOID BEING NERVOUS
If you are about to do something that makes you fearful or nervous, simply chew some gum to calm yourself down. Your brain thinks that it would not be eating if it were in danger, so you basically trick your brain into calmness. Chewing on food helps calm you down before important interviews, meetings, dates, adventure sports and the like.
3. HOW TO GET RID OF A SNEEZE
Nothing is more annoying than a sneeze that won’t come, or more embarrassing than a sneeze at the wrong moment. Simply press the area between your nose and your upper lip with your finger. This gets rids of sneezes that you feel are coming on but don’t really come. Also a handy trick if you are in a class, a quiet meeting, a memorial service, in the middle of church or something of that sort.
4. ALWAYS KNOW IF YOU’VE TAKEN YOUR DAILY MEDICATION
For medications you take twice a day, flipping the bottle upside-down after you take it in the evening and flipping it right-side up after the morning dose.
5. KNOW WHICH SIDE THE GAS TANK IS ON
If you look at the little gas indicator on your dashboard, you should see a tiny arrow next to it. That arrow actually points to the gas tank (fuel lid) side of your car. Now you’ll never forget where it is again!
6. PULLING ALL NIGHTER
If you’re pulling an all nighter, have a 15–20 minute nap just before the sun comes up and your body will reset itself.
7. STUDYING TIPS
Study your notes within one day of taking them. Retention rates are 60% higher then. Also studying for 30–50 minutes at a time (with 10 minute breaks in between) is the most effective way to retain information.
8. CHOOSE A BEST BATHING SOAP
Here is a secrete tip to choose a best bathing soap. Find the TFM percentage on the wrapper of soap. The higher it is, the better the soap. If you see TFM 80% in your soap, it is said to be first quality soap.
If it is between 60 % to 80%, it is second quality but allowed for bathing. If there is no TFM mentioned, the soap is unfit for bathing.
9. KNOW WHICH SIDE OF THE PAPER WILL PRINTER PRINT
Some printers print on front side while some on back of the paper. So the solution is, try to find this icon near your printer paper tray. If the icon has lines on the paper, it will print on front side of the paper and if the icon doesn’t have lines on paper but on left top corner, it will print behind the paper.
10. SAVE INK WHEN PRINTING
When printing documents, simply changing the text from black to gray. This will make little difference to the quality of what you’re printing, and will not only reduce the amount of ink used, but it’ll also increase the printing speed.
