Guardian Angel

God, will You place Your guardian angel around my family and friends this week? I ask that no harm comes to them. I ask that you shield them from the evil of the world.

The guardian angels of life sometimes fly so high as to be beyond our sight, but they are always looking down upon us.

We cannot pass our guardian angel's bounds, resigned or sullen, he will hear our sighs. ~ Saint Augustine

“One thing you can say for guardian angels: they guard. They give warning when danger approaches. ~ Emily Hahn

Our private thoughts are known only to God. The secret thoughts of all of us are not known by angels or demons or one another. Every prayer, however, is heard instantly by our guardian angel. ~ Janice T. Connell

Every night and every morning thank your own guardian angel for peace and for the regeneration of all the cells in your body, and for joy.  ~ Dorie D'Angelo

“I believe most at-home accidents happen in the bathroom because our guardian angels give us our privacy.  ~ Cathy L. Poulin

“I think we all do have a guardian angel. I believe they work through us all the time, when we are thoughtful and good and kind to each other. ~ Roma Downey

Never too old.

No matter how old you are, you're never too old to need your Mum.

“The debt between a child and her mother could never be repaid, like running a foot race against someone fifteen miles ahead of you. What hope did you have of catching up? It didn't matter how many Mother's Day cards you drew, how many cliches and vows of devotions you put inside them. You could tell her she was your favorite parent, wink like you were co-conspirators, fill her in on every trivial detail of your life. None of it was enough. It had taken me years to figure this out: you would never love your mother as much as she loved you. She had formed memories of you since you were a poppy seed in her belly. You didn't begin making your own memories until three, four, five years old? She'd had a running start. She had known you before you even existed. How could we compete with that? We couldn't. We accepted that our mothers held their love over us, let them parade it around like a flashy trinket, because their love was superior to ours.”― Stephanie Wrobel

“Mom, you were my first friend and after all this years you still have been my true loyal friend. I love you now and forever. Happy Mother’s Day.”

“Mom, you are the only one. Sees all, says little. Sacrifices all, complain a little. Gives all, expects little. Blessed to have a mom like you. I love you.”

“My mother is a woman like no other. she gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly she loved me unconditionally. There are not enough words to describe just how importantly she loved me unconditionally. There are not enough words to describe just how important my mother is to me and what a powerful influence she continues to be… Mother, I Love You.”

“I’ll love you forever; I’ll like you for always. As long as I’m living your baby, I’ll be. Love you mom.”

“Dear Mom. You can be my friend, sister, teacher, and counselor. But none of them can be you.”
