5 Important Things To Remember If You Love Someone With Depression

1. Depression isn't something they choose.
Depression isn't a cry for help. It's not an attempt to get attention. It's not a choice. It is the most frustrating thing to go through. Depression can leave you feeling totally paralyzed. It's not just a bad day or a bad mood. These are chronic problems.

2. Popular psychological platitudes are useless.
"It'll get better," and "You'll be fine," are not helpful statements. It's easy to tell them that and expect them to feel better, but it won't work. Instead, tell them you're here for them. Tell them you believe in them. Ask them what you can do to help them feel better.

3. You can get frustrated.
Just because they're depressed doesn't mean you can't feel some level of frustration. It's perfectly okay to be upset about it from time to time. Just don't take it out on them because...

4. It's not about you.
That's right. Their depression has absolutely nothing to do with you. It's an internal battle. You didn't cause it and chances are, you won't be able to stop it. All you can do is be there.

5. Don't engage in tough love.
Setting ultimatums, threatening to leave, giving them "tough love" will not help. Instead, consider positive things you can say to them. Be supportive no matter what.

Best marriage advice ever by a dad to his son. This is gold!

When I consider what type of advice is the best to give, I have to say marriage advice. Why? Because your spouse is who you spend your entire life with. They are the ones who endure every hardship, failure and struggle with you. They are by your side for success, growth and blessings. You lean on each other, rely on each other and make a life together.

A marriage is a partnership and if you nurture it, it can be the most powerful thing in your life. It can give you comfort and hope and stability when the rest of the world can not.

  1. My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her.
  1. My son, a woman could be a good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go.
  1. My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office.

Think Outside the Box

Moment of thinking… These are few questions asked in HR interview! The answers are really stunning and inspiring. Thinking out of the box! A must read…

Question 1:

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, it’s raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus:

* An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.

* An old friend who once saved your life.

* The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Think Different - A Beautiful Story

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were u the one who changed my sign this morning? What did u write?”
The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what u said but in a different way.”
What he had written was: “Today is a beautiful day & I cannot see it.”
Do u think the first sign & the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?
Moral of the Story : Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think different and positive.

11 Fantastic Pieces Of Advice From Kung Fu Master Bruce Lee. He Had A Brilliant Outlook On Life!

Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong American actor, filmmaker, martial artist, and the inventor of Jeet Kune Do, a style of martial arts. He was also an impressive philosopher who had a brilliant outlook on life. These are my favorite bits of advice from him.

1. Be yourself no matter what.

“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”

2. Don’t be afraid to own your mistakes.

“Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.”

3. Don’t waste your time on nothing.

“If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”

Difference between I Like You and I Love You

What is the difference between “I like you” and “I love you”? Beautifully answered by Buddha. Buddha’s answer was so simple. When you like a flower, you just pluck it. But when you love a flower, you water it daily.

If we date

If we date I don't want your passwords, or your phone. I just want the truth if I ask you about something.

Real love amounts to withholding the truth, even when you're offered the perfect opportunity to hurt someone's feelings.

Cheap Hearts can be bought with money and lies but the best Heart deserves nothing but Truth and Love.

There's a big difference between: I'm happy with you & I'm happy for You.

5 Great Lessons for Sensitive People

Sensitive people are often so giving of their time and energy that they forget to care for themselves. It’s an innate quality that can be difficult to navigate with outside influences establishing the expectations of how you should act.

Here are 5 great lessons for sensitive people:

1. Embrace and control your emotional responses.

Sensitive people see the world differently and with that vision comes great power and responsibility. Because we feel what others are feeling, we often feel a moral obligation to help, and we react with bigger emotion and more rapid action. On the surface, this appears to be a good thing, an admirable trait.

There are many challenges with reacting to a situation in the heat of heightened emotion. The other person might not want help, we might not be able to provide the right kind of help or we might offer help that ends up doing more harm than good to them and us.

It’s not about the desire to help; it’s about understanding the true nature of any situation outside of the emotional connection that is felt. Take the time to think both logically and emotionally before jumping into action. Know the whole world can’t be saved no matter how hard we try. The responsibility comes in choosing our reactions wisely.

Best things come to those who don’t give up

“Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient and the best things come to those who don’t give up.”

Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all the odds. ~ Marta

“There are no coincidences in life. What person that wandered in and out of your life was there for some purpose, even if they caused you harm. Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense the short periods of time we get with people, or the outcomes from their choices. However, if you turn it over to God he promises that you will see the big picture in the hereafter. Nothing is too small to be a mistake.”

Press A Finger – Your Back Pain is Gone! See What Happens When You Press Your Other Fingers

Many people, ancient and living today, believed that most of the body’s ills comes from disharmony inside of the body. 17 Pieces of Relationship Advice From Happily Married Couples

Over the last month, I asked every married couple I met for one piece of relationship advice. Here are the results.

We watch movies of couples falling in love and growing old together. We tweet quotes about relationships, Tumblr gifs of “that scene” from The Notebook and always coo “I want what they have” when we see an older couple in the park holding hands like they’re still 14 years old. But what does it really take to make a relationship work?

As someone who is recently engaged, I wanted to know these couples’ secrets. We live in a world where millennial “love” is the instantaneous pleasure of Tinder. Where most of our parents or family members are divorced, separated, or hate each other from different floors of the house. And yet there are couples that still make it. There are couples that fight for their relationship every day. These are the couples that should inspire us.

6 Pieces Of Buddhist Wisdom That Will Transform Your Life

1. Live a life filled with compassion and positive action.

Buddha wasn’t the only religious leader who wanted you to be compassion – you can find that teaching in others like Jesus Christ and Mohammed. It isn’t just beneficial to the world, it’s beneficial to your own spirit too. Compassion is critical to finding peace within yourself and taking care of yourself. And it may sound a little bit corny, but we all do better when we all do better.

2. Pay attention.

It annoys me to hear people to prattle on about “waking up” because it’s usually said in such a condescending way, but there is some validity to the idea of seeing the world for what it truly is. It requires mindfulness, that is paying attention to the little things around you. Many people don’t ever learn how to do that. So wake up, live mindfully, pay attention – whatever you want to call it. Just do it.

When A Girl Tells You About Her Problems

When a girl tells you about her problems, it does not mean she complains. It means she trusts you.

To all us girls: Place your heart into the hands of God and he will place it into the hands of a mans who believes he deserves it.

People talk a lil too never know just who to trust.

Cannot trust anyone these days. Fake is becoming the new trend.

Smart girls are the over thinkers, the insecure ones, the different ones. They know what the real world is like. They analyze every little thing in life. Why? To avoid getting hurt. To find happiness. They stay up at night trying to think about every possible situation to get through all problems. They think too much. They trust less people. Their insecurity proves their respect toward themselves. Of course they live away from a drama-filled life. Smart girls know their worth, now that's the ones worth keeping by your side.

Behind every untrusting girl, is a boy who lied, cheated, broke his promises to her.
