Why Husband Carry Wife Photo in Wallet

Wife:What are you doing?

Husband : Nothing.

Wife :Nothing...? You have been reading our marriage certificate for an hour.

Husband : I was looking for the expiry date.

Wife : Do you want dinner?’

Husband : Sure! What are my choices?’

Wife :Yes or no.

Wife:You always carry my photo in your wallet. Why?

Husband: When there is a problem, no matter how great, I look at your picture and the problem disappears

Wife: You see how miraculous and powerful I am for you?

Husband: Yes! I see your picture and ask myself: What other problem can there be greater than this one?

6 Pieces Of Buddhist Wisdom That Will Transform Your Life

1. Live a life filled with compassion and positive action.

Buddha wasn’t the only religious leader who wanted you to be compassion – you can find that teaching in others like Jesus Christ and Mohammed. It isn’t just beneficial to the world, it’s beneficial to your own spirit too. Compassion is critical to finding peace within yourself and taking care of yourself. And it may sound a little bit corny, but we all do better when we all do better.

2. Pay attention.

It annoys me to hear people to prattle on about “waking up” because it’s usually said in such a condescending way, but there is some validity to the idea of seeing the world for what it truly is. It requires mindfulness, that is paying attention to the little things around you. Many people don’t ever learn how to do that. So wake up, live mindfully, pay attention – whatever you want to call it. Just do it.

A Date with Another Woman

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, “I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.”

The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.

That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie. “What’s wrong, are you well ?” she asked. She was suspicious of something. “I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you,” I responded. “Just the two of us.” She thought about it for a moment, and then said, “I would like that very much.”That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up , She was waiting at the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary. She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel’s. “I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed, “she said, as she got into the car.

We went to a restaurant that was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady. After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips. “It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small,” she said. “Then it’s time that you relax and let me return the favor,” I responded. During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation – nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other’s life. We talked so much that we missed the movie. As we arrived at her house later, she said, “I’ll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.” I agreed.

“How was your dinner date?” asked my wife when I got home. “Very nice. Much more so than I could have imagined,” I answered.

A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn’t have a chance to do anything for her. Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place mother and I had dined. An attached note said: “I paid this bill in advance. I wasn’t sure that I could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two plates – one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son.”

At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: “I LOVE YOU” and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till “some other time.”

People Ask Me Why It's So Hard To Trust People?

People ask me why its so hard to trust people. I ask them why is it so hard to keep a promise.

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” ~ William Shakespeare

“I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

“I don't trust people who don't love themselves and tell me, 'I love you.' ... There is an African saying which is: Be careful when a naked person offers you a shirt.” ~ Maya Angelou

How You Know You Love Someone?

“That's how you know you love someone, I guess, when you can't experience anything without wishing the other person were there to see it, too.”~ Kaui Hart Hemmings

When we love someone we’ve wanted to share every little things we do because he/she’s a part of us, of our existence of our happiness. ~ Fae Waskowski

I still reach for the phone or can’t wait to tell my Mother something or think that she might enjoy something I just saw or was a part of only to remember that she passed away 13 yrs ago come, but it’s not a day I don’t think of her. She’s still a very big part of my life. ~ Kimi Kelliebrew

10 Ways You're Being Unfaithful to Your Spouse and You Don’t Even Know It

Marriage can be tough. Having to deal with someone else’s needs on a daily basis, and often having to prioritize them above our own, can create some wear and tear. Naturally, we seek relief from other outlets in our lives. But…what’s normal and what’s encroaching upon your marriage? These are 10 ways that people are often unfaithful, without even realizing it.

1. Talking about significant others behind their backs.
This one is so common that it often creeps in without us even realizing it. The problems start to arise when we do this with someone that we consider attractive. This can become a very dangerous situation, so be extremely mindful about sharing your marital woes with someone.

She's the woman who believes.

She is the girl who believes that what comes around goes around. The one who hopes for a better day. The one who wont give up on you. She is the girl who's unlike the rest. The one who spent her days smiling, and her nights crying. She is the girl who would love to be loved. The one who looks so damn strong, but feels so weak. She is the girl who picks herself up every time she falls.

When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.~ Helen Keller

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.~ Maya Angelou

A really strong woman accepts the war she went through and is ennobled by her scars. ~ Carly Simon

I think God made a woman to be strong and not to be trampled under the feet of men. I've always felt this way because my mother was a very strong woman, without a husband. ~ Little Richard

One of the hardest lessons in life

One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it's guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go.

“If there's a thing I've learned in my life it's to not be afraid of the responsibility that comes with caring for other people. What we do for love: those things endure. Even if the people you do them for don't” ~ Cassandra Clare

“I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves. They didn't bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn't argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn't.” ~ Marilyn Monroe

Letting go is really hard but once you did it, you will feel better and you will have peace within.

Erasing yourself from somebody’s life

Anybody can walk out the door and well, no, not everyone can do it. But yes, its easier then erasing that person from your life because when you leave, you don’t usually think as you just want to escape, be it an abuse situation between spouses, drug or alcohol situation, etc. Its because you still are tied to that person and probably still love him/her. You don’t want to be without that person and until you walk out that door and close that door behind you and don’t come back because it’s the same thing over and over again, that person will still have a hold over you till you yourself do something about it, get help yourself first and then see what happens. Yes, insanity is doing the same thing over again expecting different results they say, and nothing changes till you change. ~ Lenore Bruner

You just stop seeing that person under the circumstances that well, you don’t actually have to. You remember to surround yourself with those who really and genuinely love you. Go back to them. Must not forget that they are the ones who will be there for you at the end of the day. ~ Tracy Ho

Erasing yourself from somebody's life is not as simple as walking out the door.

“If pain must come, may it come quickly. Because I have a life to live, and I need to live it in the best way possible. If he has to make a choice, may he make it now. Then I will either wait for him or forget him.” ~ Paulo Coelho

If you're truly a gentleman

IF you're truly a gentleman, you will NEVER have to say it. Your actions alone should prove that you are the one.

The final test of a gentleman is his respect for those who can be of no possible service to him.~ William Lyon Phelps

A real gentleman, even if he loses everything he owns, must show no emotion. Money must be so far beneath a gentleman that it is hardly worth troubling about. ~ Fyodor Dostoevsky

“We can’t be lovers because we both have mustaches. But since you’re a lady, and I’m a gentleman, I’ll shave mine off.” ~ Jarod Kintz

“Never rearrange your life in order to meet Mr. Darcy half way. If he couldn’t see your worth at the moment you met then he won’t two years later. May the halls of Pemberly be filled with his regrets and your life filled with thankfulness because of this revelation.” ~Shannon L. Alder

Sometimes you find the wrong person at the right time

Sometimes you find the right person at the wrong time. sometimes it’s the wrong person at the right time. but when you find the right person, at the right time, in the right situation, it’s because you’re meant to be together. fate has grabbed both of your hands. Don't let go!

“There are no coincidences in life. What person that wandered in and out of your life was there for some purpose, even if they caused you harm. Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense the short periods of time we get with people, or the outcomes from their choices. However, if you turn it over to God he promises that you will see the big picture in the hereafter. Nothing is too small to be a mistake.”~ Shannon L. Alder

If you find the right person at the wrong time and are just trying to forget them because you got your confidence back then they weren’t the right person. It’s during the hard times that the right person will let themselves be seen or heard. If he cares he will at least make a attempt to see you. He will let you know that he is not going anywhere. He will also let you know that he doesn’t mind waiting. If he is the right person in your eyes then you have to have a little faith that things will work out. If it’s meant to be sometimes you have to let it go and if it comes back to you then you know he was the right one. When you do find the right person forget the situation and just focus on them. ~ Jeffrey Boone

There are time whens you want to say or feel things but you don't, as we end up thinking if it's right or wrong. But we forget feelings does not have boundaries unlike the norms of life made by us... Sometimes it's better to let them flow.

Tired of being in the When Am I going to find a love club, I've come close, get a dose, but it just ain't enough. Right guy, wrong time, Right time, wrong guy. What's the use? Why even try?

If they are the right person at the wrong time, don’t take second best just because you think they will never come back around. If they really are the one, they will always find a way back into your life. ~ Gracie Casey

Fake people are only nice

Fake people are only nice when it’s convenient for them or they usually have a hidden agenda. Genuinely nice people go out of their way to help others and they have an honest heart. Stick with the ones who never let you down and keep their promises. You can’t fake that.

“I hate fake people. You know what I’m talking about. Mannequins.” ~ Jarod Kintz

“Always sleep with one eye open. Never take anything for granted. Your best friends might just be your enemies.” ~ Sara Shepard

Bad food is made without pride, by cooks who have no pride, and no love. Bad food is made by chefs who are indifferent, or who are trying to be everything to everybody, who are trying to please everyone... Bad food is fake food... food that shows fear and lack of confidence in people's ability to discern or to make decisions about their lives. ~ Anthony Bourdain

Confidence and empowerment are cousins in my opinion. Empowerment comes from within and typically it's stemmed and fostered by self-assurance. To feel empowered is to feel free and that's when people do their best work. You can't fake confidence or empowerment. ~ Amy Jo Martin

The real power of a man

The real power of a man is in the size of the smile of the woman sitting next to him.

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent then the one derived from fear of punishment. ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Every man builds his world in his own image. He has the power to choose, but no power to escape the necessity of choice. ~ Ayn Rand

Love him or hate him, Trump is a man who is certain about what he wants and sets out to get it, no holds barred. Women find his power almost as much of a turn-on as his money. ~ Donald Trump

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. ~ Abraham Lincoln

I appreciate honesty

Honesty is the rarest wealth anyone can possess, and yet all the honesty in the world ain't lawful tender for a loaf of bread. ~ Josh Billings

There is an interaction and action, reaction between two people. One should show honesty in a relationship. Be honest to your partner and tell him everything. How long can you do things with dishonesty and that's wrong. Don't get into a relationship if you can't be honest. ~ Randeep Hooda

A sarcastic person has a superiority complex that can be cured only by the honesty of humility. ~ Lawrence G. Lovasik

Honesty is the best policy - when there is money in it. ~ Mark Twain

I appreciate honesty more than anything. If you tell me what it is up front, you gave me the option to take it or leave it. I respect that.
