Why do we close our eyes when we pray, cry, kiss or dream?

Why do we close our eyes when we pray, cry, kiss or dream? Because the most beautiful things in life are not seen but felt by the heart.

Pay attention to your dreams

It’s also another way God is communicating with us. In Feb 11,1996, sunday early in the morning my youngest come into my dreams, to tell me that he is going away for good and just want to stop by to say his good bye. I didn’t pay attention to that dream, I went to work but it keep me thinking about it. About 4:00 pm that the same day, I hear my oldest son saying, ” Mom, Dale’s gone”. That was the dream was all about he come into my dreams to say his final good bye. So ever since then I pay attention to my dreams. I wish I really pay more attention to that dream, till to this day that dream is always with me. ~ Marylou McHugh

“Attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. Stay eager.” ~ Susan Sontag

“Do stuff. be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It's all about paying attention. attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. stay eager.” ~ Susan Sontag

A patient person receives the best Love story

Do you guys think a Fairy Tail kind of love really exist or is it just a human illusion which is only created by our self based on what we may see in a movie love story? All new beginning relationships are based by physical attraction or the excitement of the unknown. Often confused with being in love but it only last for short period of time. Ones the illusion dies everything we imagined should be slowly will start to disappear. What once we thought it was love often times turns into hate. Not everyone that is alone feels lonely and not everyone that is taken is in love. The only ever lasting true love there is is the love of God. ~ Roxana McCarty

Individual psychotherapy - that is, engaging a distressed fellow human in a disciplined conversation and human relationship - requires that the therapist have the proper temperament and philosophy of life for such work. By that I mean that the therapist must be patient, modest, and a perceptive listener, rather than a talker and advice-giver.~ Thomas Szasz

We're losing social skills, the human interaction skills, how to read a person's mood, to read their body language, how to be patient until the moment is right to make or press a point. Too much exclusive use of electronic information dehumanises what is a very, very important part of community life and living together.~ Vincent Nichols

At some point in life, someone will love you more than what you've expected. Be patient and learn to wait, because sometimes a patient person receives the best love story.

Sometimes God Doesn't Change Your Situation

“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

“The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”~ Søren Kierkegaard

“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.” ~ Mother Teresa

“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.” ~ Abraham Lincoln

Life can be difficult at times

“The thing about life is that you must survive. Life is going to be difficult, and dreadful things will happen. What you do is move along, get on with it, and be tough. Not in the sense of being mean to others, but being tough with yourself and making a deadly effort not to be defeated.” ~ Katharine Hepburn

I find being compassionately loving towards myself now that the storms are over is a definite must. I do this by forgiving and loving myself and others and by coming to a full understanding that my struggles made me who I am today and I have gained so much insight and wisdom. But during my most difficult turbulent times, I had to be tough on myself and dig deep into my well of self severe battle, because I wouldn’t of survived. I wouldn’t be here today, alive. ~ Brigitte Nicole

One Who Loves You True

Find someone who openly communicates their feelings. Someone who realizes that you’re not perfect and never expects you to be. Someone who would never want to lose you and feels so blessed to be with you. One who gives their heart completely. Someone who says I love you and means it. Last but not least, find someone who looks forward to a future with you and with each and every new day, falls in love with you all over again. — Brigitte Nicole

If Someone Really Loves You

Someone who really loves you sees what a mess you can be, how moody you can get, how hard you are to handle, but still wants you in their life.

“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

Some of you may not believe this I have yet to experience it but I'm waiting. Don't give up on me wherever you are. These words capture my experience precisely. Even when words are not spoken, we know, we understand, we care and we love.

When you leave certain people do you feel better or do you feel worse

" Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships. Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know, or appreciate you? The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life."

I have let them go, cut them out, don’t need these people they needed me to use and wipe their dirty feet on, when I was trying to help them they using me. No more, have taken off the rose colored glasses and seeing them for what their sweet smiles and words really are. ~ Jan Edmondson

How To Show You Care

To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care enough and BE THERE .

With fame, you can't trust everybody. You can't depend on them being there for you as a person. They will only be there because of what you've got you as a person. They will only be there because of what you've got and what you can bring to their life. It's not a relationship-it's a leech.~ Chris Brown

People that are meant to be together

We are not yet the person we need to be for a relationship with the right person to work. Life is a process and we must each grow into who we are meant to be. The key is to continue growing into the best you can be and to be grateful and happy just where you are. Finding each other took longer than either of us thought it would, but when we found each other we had each grown into the kind of people who could appreciate each other and have a wonderful relationship. We would not have worked together when we were younger. ~ Mary Fielder

People that are meant to be together always find their way in the end.

“I told you. You don't love someone because of their looks or their clothes or their car. You love them because they sing a song only your heart can understand.” ~ L.J. Smith

A true friend

True friend is always there whenever you need them.

When you found a true friend never let him go. hold them close to your heart.

A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down. - Arnold H. Glasow

A caring friend is thousand times better than a careless lover.

Sometimes removing some people

Sometimes removing some people out of your life makes room for better people.

The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.~ Abraham Lincoln

Ignoring fame was my rebellion, in a funny way. I was insistent on being normal and doing normal things. It probably wasn't advisable to go to college in America and room with a complete stranger. And it probably wasn't wise to share a bathroom with eight other people in a coed dorm. Looking back, that was crazy.~ Emma Watson

Open your book of life only to few people.

Open your book of life only to few people. Because in this world very few people care to understand the chapters, other are curious to know.

“Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.” ~ Allen Saunders

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” ~ Albert Einstein

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”~ Marilyn Monroe

Choose To Be Respected

There will be times in your life when you have to choose between being loved and being respected. Always pick being respected, that love without respect is always fleeting — but that respect could grow into real, lasting LOVE.

Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that's real power.~ Clint Eastwood

And the greatest lesson that mom ever taught me though was this one. She told me there would be times in your life when you have to choose between being loved and being respected. Now she said to always pick being respected.~ Chris Christie

When you start falling for somebody and you can't stop thinking about when you're going to see them again, I love that. Women are beautiful. They deserve to be cherished and respected.~ Orlando Bloom

Time does not heal anything

Time does not heal anything, it just teaches us how to live with the pain.

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have - life itself.~ Walter Anderson

Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.~ Joseph Campbell

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.~ Khalil Gibran

Don't waste your time with explanations:

“Don't waste your time with explanations: people only hear what they want to hear.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“Don't waste your love on somebody, who doesn't value it.” ~ William Shakespeare

“It starts so young, and I'm angry about that. The garbage we're taught. About love, about what's "romantic." Look at so many of the so-called romantic figures in books and movies. Do we ever stop and think how many of them would cause serious and drastic unhappiness after The End? Why are sick and dangerous personality types so often shown a passionate and tragic and something to be longed for when those are the very ones you should run for your life from? Think about it. Heathcliff. Romeo. Don Juan. Jay Gatsby. Rochester. Mr. Darcy. From the rigid control freak in The Sound of Music to all the bad boys some woman goes running to the airport to catch in the last minute of every romantic comedy. She should let him leave. Your time is so valuable, and look at these guys--depressive and moody and violent and immature and self-centered. And what about the big daddy of them all, Prince Charming? What was his secret life? We dont know anything about him, other then he looks good and comes to the rescue.” ~ Deb Caletti

Do you believe that there are no accidents in life?

Do you believe that there are no accidents in life? Everything happens for a reason. Every person we meet will have a role in our lives, be it big or small. Some will hurt, betray, and make us cry, to be become stronger. Some will teach us a lesson, not to change us, but for us to realize our mistakes, to help us grow, and make us a better person. And some would simply inspire and love us to make us happy.

Anything that happens in our lives is always for a purpose. If you take it positively, you’ll benefit from it, but if you take the vice versa, it’ll break you.

No matter what happens to you in life, you control how you feel and react to things.

You Can’t Control Everything

You can’t control everything. Sometimes you just need to relax and have faith that things will work out. Let go a little and just let life happen. ~ Kody Keplinger

“I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?”
~ John Lennon

“If he’s not calling you, it’s because you are not on his mind. If he creates expectations for you, and then doesn’t follow through on little things, he will do same for big things. Be aware of this and realize that he’s okay with disappointing you. Don’t be with someone who doesn’t do what they say they’re going to do. If he’s choosing not to make a simple effort that would put you at ease and bring harmony to a recurring fight, then he doesn’t respect your feelings and needs. “Busy” is another word for “asshole.” “Asshole” is another word for the guy you’re dating. You deserve a fcking phone call.”
~ Greg Behrendt

Ten Commandments of Friendship.

“Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . ."” ~ C.S. Lewis

“Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” ~ Albert Camus

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.” ~ Elbert Hubbard

“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.” ~ Mark Twain

“It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” ~Friedrich Nietzsche

I am at that point where I don't even care if people like ME anymore.

“I am at that point where I don't even care if people like ME anymore. If you like ME, cool. If you don't, okay.”

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.” ~ Kurt Vonnegut

“It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.” ~  Dale Carnegie,

I'm just ME

I'm not perfect, I'm me. I've made bad decisions and wrong choices, but I'm me. I've said the wrong things, I've said the right things, because I'm me.

I don't like everything I've done, but I did it because I'm me. I've loved the wrong people and trusted the wrong people and I'm still me.

If I had a chance to start again, I wouldn't change a thing. Why? because I'm me. There are a lot of good things about me, you just need to look past the imperfections to see what's right. If you can't do that then it's your loss. I'm the best I can be. I am ME
