Police Officer Never Expected Anyone To Write This About Him On FB. This Is Heartbreaking.

Dear Officer, I want you to know that I see you.

I see you choose the booth in the restaurant that allows you to have your back against the wall.

I see you walking to your next traffic stop while you hope that it isn't your last.

I see you pulled over, two hours past your shift, as you finish your reports under a street light.

I see you as you direct traffic in the scorching heat, the gusting snow, and the downpour of rain.

I see you being filmed every time you try to do your job.

This Little Girl Will Surprise You the Way She Surprised Her Father

A Father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him. To keep her busy, he tore one page on which was printed the map of the world. He tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again.

He was sure she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map……When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she said, “Oh…. Dad, there is a man’s face on the other side of the paper….. I made the face perfect to get the map right." She ran outside to play leaving the father surprised.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side…. You will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem.

Beautiful explanation by Swami Vivekananda on Association.

Explaining the meaning of ‘Association’. He said:

The rain drop from the sky: If it is caught in hands, it is pure enough for drinking. If it falls in a gutter, its value drops so much that it can’t be used even for washing the feet. If it falls on hot surface, it perishes.

If it falls on lotus leaf, it shines like a pearl and finally, if it falls on oyster, it becomes a pearl. The drop is same, but its existence & worth depend on with whom it associates.

Always be associated with people who are good at heart.

Send this to all people with beautiful heart.

Intelligent Story: The Genius Einstein's Driver

There is a story about how Albert Einstein was traveling to universities, giving lectures on his famous theory of relativity. One day while on their way to a university,

The driver said:" Dr. Einstein, I've heard that lecture more than 30 times. I have learned it by heart and bet I could give it myself."

"Well, I'll give you the chance," said Einstein,

"They don't know me at the next school, so when we get there I'll put on your cap and you introduce yourself as me and give the lecture." Einstein continued.

At the hall, the driver gave Einstein's lecture so wonderfully that he didn't make any mistakes.

When he finished, he started to leave, but one of the professors stopped him and asked him a question which was very difficult. The aim of the question was not gaining knowledge but embarrassing Einstein.

The driver thought fast.

"The answer to that problem is so simple," he said,
"I'm surprised you have to ask me. In fact, to show you just how simple it is, I'm going to ask my driver to come up here and answer your question."!

Then Einstein stood up and gave an incredible answer to the question of that professor.

~ Moral of the story: No matter how genius you pretend to be, there is always someone who is more genius than you despite his position.

13 Sign's You're Wasting Life But You Can't Admit It

When you were a kid, did you want to grow up to be an astronaut, a singer or an engineer? If so, how’s that working out for you? Hopefully, it’s going great and you are living the life of your dreams. But for the rest of you who are not, here are 13 signs that you might be wasting your life… but you don’t want to admit it:

1. YOU SPEND TOO MUCH TIME DOING THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T BE DOING.

Video games. Reality TV. Surfing the ‘net. Stuffing your face with too much food. Drinking too much. And the list goes on. Take a serious look at your life. Where are you spending the majority of your time? And does it serve you well? Is it leading to a better life? Is it laying the foundation for a bright future? If not, then you need to reevaluate your routine activities and make changes.

2. YOU FIND YOURSELF COMPLAINING A LOT.

I know people who are constantly overwhelmed with life, and they never cease to tell me. Are you one of those people? Do you complain about your job, your boss, your salary, your neighbors or your spouse? If you do, then you are doing nothing but exuding negative energy. Negativity doesn’t change things. It keeps you stuck. So change your thoughts and talk about what you appreciate about your life, not what you don’t like.

3. YOU DON’T FEED YOUR MIND.

If you’re not continually growing and learning as a person, then you are stagnant – just like a still pond that doesn’t move and grows green gunk on it. That’s what your mind does if you don’t keep it active and learn new things. Positive challenges in your life will expand your mind, not send it backwards.

Burned Biscuits (Inspiring Story)

When I was a little child, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.

On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I’ll never forget what he said: “Baby, I love burned biscuits.”

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she’s real tired. And besides – a little burned biscuit never hurt anyone!”

Things are not always what they Seem

Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family.

The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion’s guest room.

Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement.

As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.

When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied,

“Things aren’t always what they seem.”

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife.

After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night’s rest.

When the sun came up the next morning, the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how he could have let this happen? ”The first man had everything, yet you helped him,” she accused. ‘The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.”

“Things aren’t always what they seem,” the older angel replied. “When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn’t find it.”

These 24 Socrates Quotes Will Make You Question Life

Socrates was one of the most influential philosophers of all time. His writings are not only inspirational, but they will make you question life in a very unique way.
Here are 24 Socrates quotes that will make you question life:
1) “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”
2) “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
3) “There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.”
4) “I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think”
5) “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
6) “Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people.”
7) “By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you’ll become happy; if you get a bad one, you’ll become a philosopher.”
8) “He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have.”
9) “If you don’t get what you want, you suffer; if you get what you don’t want, you suffer; even when you get exactly what you want, you still suffer because you can’t hold on to it forever. Your mind is your predicament. It wants to be free of change. Free of pain, free of the obligations of life and death. But change is law and no amount of pretending will alter that reality.”

The Faithful Dog - A Touching Story

BEAUTIFUL STORY

There is a story of a woman who had a faithful dog. This dog was so faithful that the woman could leave her baby with it and go out to attend other matters. She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with the dog faithfully watching over him.

One day something tragic happened. The woman as usual, left the baby in the “hands” of this faithful dog and went out shopping. When she returned, she discovered rather a nasty scene. There was a total mess. The baby’s cot was dismantled and his nappies and clothes torn to shreds with bloodstains all over the bedroom where she had left the child and the dog. Shocked, the woman wailed as she began looking for the baby.

Presently, she saw the faithful dog emerging from the under the bed. It was covered with blood and licking its mouth as it had just finished a delicious meal. The woman went berserk and assumed that the dog had devoured her baby. Without much thought she clubbed the dog to death.

As she continued searching for the “remains” of her child, she beheld another scene. Close to the bed was the baby who, although lying on bare floor, was safe. And under the bed the carcass of a jackal torn to pieces in what must have been a fierce battle between it and the dog which was now dead.

Then the reality hit the woman who now began to understand what took place in her absence. The dog fought to protect the baby from the ravenous jackal. It was too late for her now to make amends because in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog. A dog deserving praise and adoration that fought to save the life of her dear beloved child received death in return.

Moral: How often have we misjudged people and torn them to shreds with harsh words and even with physical assault before we have had time to evaluate the situation? It is called the SIN OF PRESUMPTION. Presuming things are one way without taking the trouble to find out exactly what the situation really is. A little patience can drastically reduce major lifelong errors.

Who is Happy? The Peacock and The Crow Story

A Crow Lived in the Forest and was absolutely satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan… This swan is so white and I am so black…crow thought.

This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.

He expressed his thoughts to the swan. “Actually,” the swan replied,
“I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation.”

The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life—until I saw a peacock. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors.”

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him.

After the people had left, The crow approached the Peacock..

When You're Ignoring Her

Just remember when you're ignoring her, you're teaching her to live without you.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. ~ Mahatma Gandhi

It sucks when you’re ignored by the person who’s attention is the only thing you want in the world.

I’m sorry. I constantly want to talk to you. I’m sorry when you take long to reply, I get sad. I’m sorry if I say things that might piss you off. I’m sorry if I come off as annoying. I’m sorry if you don’t wanna talk to me as much as I wanna talk to you. I’m sorry if I tell you about my pointless drama when you don’t really care. I’m sorry if I come off as being clingy, but it’s just me missing you.

When people walk away from you

When people walk away from you, let them go. You shouldn’t have to talk them into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, and coming to see you, because if they really cared about you in the first place; they would not be going anywhere.

If someone can forget you and leave you just like that for one incident, regardless of thousands of good times and memories there’s no point of chasing after that person because there are people who doesn’t remember or treasure good things but keep on stacking only the bad things with hatred. ~ Aditha Rambukwella

When someone is come to your life for reason they have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support. There are there for the reason you need them to be. Something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. And now it is time to move on. ~ Pranom Sripruk

Dear Obnoxious People

Dear Obnoxious People,

Yes, I am an introvert. No, I'm not shy. No, I'm not stuck up. No, I'm not antisocial. I'm just listening. I'm just observing. I can't stand small talk... But I'll talk about life for hours. I'd rather be home with a close friend or two than among a crowd of acquaintances. Don't scold me in public. Don't embarrass me in public. Respect that I am reserved. And if I open myself up to you, know that means you're very special to me.

Sincerely, Go Away

I am what I am and have been for a long time. What I do and how I act is a reflection on me and me only, never anyone else. I don’t pull back (or seem to), do not forcefully engage, or seem distant because I want to but have to. If I don’t take moments to recharge and disengage when needed, my functionality becomes limited and creates havoc in my personal perspective towards my interpreted world which feels unmanageable when it shouldn’t. Continuous chaos and commotion are my naturally selected enemies. It drains my good “juices” within and reveals my character defects which become ugly and unintentionally hurtful to others. Time is my friend sometimes and my enemy at others. I don’t expect others to feel how I feel. All I ask is an understanding that I’m simply doing me when I need to and nothing else. Peace to us all for the greater good. ~ Wally Peterson

A Businessman And A Cheque Story

The business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly an old man appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said. After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.”

He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.”

Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!

“I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.

With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.

No Matter Where Life Takes You

No matter where life takes you, big cities or small towns, you will inevitably come across small minds – people who think they’re better then you – people who think that material possessions, dressing a certain way, driving a fancy car, etc. makes you a worthwhile human being. But material things don’t matter. What matters is having strength of character, integrity, and a sense of self-worth. And if you’re lucky enough to have any of these things, never sell them. Never sell yourself short.

We must also remember to treat each other with a level of respect no matter our racial, political, religion, or financial status. I have met beautiful rich people and poor people alike. There are always some that walk around with the air of entitlement. Remember today you are “here” but tomorrow you can be “there. ” Be kinder people and give value toyour life. ~ Diane Vega

15 Laws Of Life From The Hindu Monk, Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was a Hindu Monk from India, and a crucial figure in history responsible for introducing the philosophies of yoga and vendata to the Western world. He is also credited for helping bring Hinduism to the fore as a major World religion. He was heavily influenced by his guru, Ramakrishna Paramahansa, eventually deciding that service to God could be accomplished by service to mankind.
In India, Vivekananda is regarded as a patriotic saint, and is celebrated every National Youth Day on January 12th. In honor of this upcoming event, we would like to offer the 15 Laws of Life, as told by Swami Vivekanada.

Love Is The Law Of Life.
All love is expansion, all selfishness is contraction. Love is therefore the only law of life. He who loves lives, he who is selfish is dying. Therefore, love for love’s sake, because it is law of life, just as you breathe to live.

It Is Your Outlook That Matters.

It is our own mental attitude, which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.

Life Is Beautiful.

First, believe in this world – that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you do not understand it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves!

Some People Are Not Capable Of Love

Hurting people hurt others and it’s so painful and frustrating trying to love someone that continually strikes out. What they need is forgiveness and love. Love never fails. It’s hard not to give up, especially when it’s family. They are broken. The love of God is the great healer. Pray hard! ~ Theresa Wilt

Forgiveness does not always lead to a healed relationship. Some people are not capable of love, and it might be wise to let them go along with your anger. Just wish them well and take care of yourself.

Everyone is capable of love, some are just lost, afraid and broken, so love is difficult or them to find, accept, share & show. The better sentiment would be, ” We can’t connect with everyone, especially those who are not ready to open up to the love we want to share. It’s ok to let them go and wish them well in their search for someone to be happy with.” ~ Maureen Navadomskis

The True Mark Of Maturity

The true mark of maturity is when somebody hurts you and you try to understand their situation instead of trying to hurt them back.

I have been hurt by loved ones in my life but I learned you cant teach a dog new tricks unless they are willing to admit to their mistakes and learn from them. Now I just cut those kind of people out of my life and my life has re-positive, I got to be tough and move on. ~ Chiye Kaneshige

31 Life Changing John Lennon Quotes

1. "Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans."
2. "Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted."
3. "Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it."
4. "Only by trying on other people's clothes do we find what size we are."
5. "Produce your own dream. If you want to save Peru, go save Peru. It's quite possible to do anything, but not if you put it on the leaders and the parking meters. Don't expect Carter or Reagan or John Lennon or Yoko Ono or Bob Dylan or Jesus Christ to come and do it for you. You have to do it yourself."
6. "Declare it. Just the same way we declare war. That is how we will have peace… we just need to declare it."

If you choose to stay in an unhappy relationship

You can be happy in an unhappy relationship as long as your relationship with your own being is strong. Never depend on someone else for your own happiness. Took me 39 years to figure that out but I did it. You can too. Always look within.

If you choose to stay in an unhappy relationship, then you choose to stay UNHAPPY!
