Ten Commandments of Friendship.

“Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . ."” ~ C.S. Lewis

“Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” ~ Albert Camus

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.” ~ Elbert Hubbard

“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.” ~ Mark Twain

“It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” ~Friedrich Nietzsche

Goodbye is the hardest thing to say to someone who means the world to you

The truly painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said, never explained.

Never say goodbye if you still want to try. Never give up if you still feel you can go on. Never say you do not love a person if you can’t let go.

Why is “Goodbye” referred to as “good” when there are times when there is nothing good about a goodbye? As much as we don’t want to, some of us must learn to live separate lives in separate worlds. Paradoxically, we must let go to move on until our hearts meet again. Still the emptiness remains until life is kind enough to reunite us in some distant tomorrow.

Never say goodbye when you still want to try. Never give up when you still feel you can take it. Never say you don’t love a person when you can’t let go.
