Many times, the decisions we make affect and hurt your closest friends and family the most. I have a lot of regrets in that regard. But God has forgiven me, which I am very thankful for. It has enabled me to forgive myself and move forward one day at a time. ~ Lex Luger

Isn’t it sad that there are so many broken families? If that is your situation, there comes a time when you must rise above the pain and go forth doing what makes you most happy with people who sincerely care for you. I will always need my Son

I will always need my Son, no matter what age I am. My son has made me laugh, made me proud, made me cry, seen me cry, hugged me tight, seen me fail, cheered me up, kept me on my toes, and at times driven me crazy, But my Son is a promise that I will have a friend FOREVER!

Brotherly Love - Touching Story

READ THE FOLLOWING STORY SLOWLY, IT'S A TOUCHING STORY

I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me. I wanted to buy a handkerchief, which all girls around me seemed to have. So, one day I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father had discovered about the stolen money right away. He made me and my younger brother kneel against the wall as he held a bamboo stick in his hand. 'Who stole the money?' he asked. I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Neither of us admitted to the fault, so he said, 'Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!' He lifted up the bamboo stick.

Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand and said, Dad, I was the one who did it!' The long stick smacked my brother's back repeatedly. Father was so angry that he kept on whipping my brother until he lost his breath. After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, 'You have learned to steal from your own house now. What other embarrassing things will you are possibly doing in the future? You should be beaten to death, you shameless thief!' That night, my mother and I hugged my brother.

His body was full of wounds from the beating but he never shed a single tear. In the middle of the night, all of sudden, I cried out loudly. My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened.' I still hate myself for not having enough courage to admit what I did. Years went by, but the incident still seemed like it just happened yesterday. I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me. That year, my brother was 8 years old and I was 11 years old. When my brother was in his last year of secondary school, he was accepted in an upper secondary school in the central. At the same time, I was accepted into a university in the province. That night, father squatted in the yard, smoking, packet by packet.

She smiled, and she accepted his proposal.

the BEST Sister in the world !

Sister is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship. ~ Margaret Mead

For there is no friend like a sister in calm or stormy weather; To cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one if one goes astray, to lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands.~ Christina Rossetti

Sisters walk together through life, through death, through common bonds and sad farewells. They become aunts and great aunts to each others children and grandchildren. They watch each other grow older, struggle, and succeed.

Why a sister is so special?

Your sister is always the first female friend you will have in your life. Nobody will ever be able to understand your craziness like your sister and although you don't see each other as much as you'd like, she will always remain your friend and be there for you when you need her the most. While people will come and go in your life, your sister will be in your heart for a lifetime. If you have a sister that you love with all your heart..

“Sister. She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink. Some days, she's the reason you wish you were an only child.” ~ Barbara Alpert

“Sisters, as you know, also have a unique relationship. This is the person who has known you your entire life, who should love you and stand by you no matter what, and yet it's your sister who knows exactly where to drive the knife to hurt you the most.” ~ Lisa See

Woman Keeps Everything Inside

Maybe she laughs and maybe she cries, and maybe you would be surprised at everything she keeps inside.

A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man. ~ Lana Turner

I know who I am. I am not perfect. I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world. But I'm one of them. ~ Mary J. Blige

There are some of us who choose to keep everything “locked down” inside of us. We build our walls of protection & choose to let nobody enter inside. We choose to not open up to anyone because they don’t understand. In the end its about how “you yourself” choose to deal what life brings you & what keeps you moving forward day to day. ~ Jennifer Anne

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. ~ Audrey Hepburn

You are not a man

Men are the ones who are given strength by God to protect women. So if you hurt a woman you are not a man.

“Every man I meet wants to protect me. I can't figure out what from.” ~ Mae West

“She didn't need to understand the meaning of life; it was enough to find someone who did, and then fall asleep in his arms and sleep as a child sleeps, knowing that someone stronger than you is protecting you from all evil and all danger” ~ Paulo Coelho

“People can have their opinions about everything in the world, but people's opinions end where the tip of my nose begins. Your opinions of others can only go so far as to where their own shoreline is. The world is for your taking, but other people are not. One is only allowed to have an opinion of me, if that person is done educating him/herself on everything about me. Before people educate themselves on everything about you, they're not allowed to open their venomous mouthes and have an opinion about you.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

“Protect your good image from the eyes of negative viewers, who may look at your good appearance with an ugly fiendish eye, and ruin your positive qualities with their chemical infested tongues.” ~ Michael Bassey Johnson

To My Daughter

To My Daughter, I love you so, you are so special, I hope you know. With every day that passes by, you're more the twinkle in my eye. So loving, so giving, a heart of gold, always my baby, even when I'm old. Your love shines through, for all to see, I feel so proud, you are a part of me, I love so much.

“The expression in her eyes was bitter as nightshade. 'You ask me about regret? Let me tell you a few things about regret, my darling. There is no end to it. You cannot find the beginning of the chain that brought us from there to here. Should you regret the whole chain, and the air between, or each link separately, as if you could uncouple them? Do you regret the beginning which ended so badly, or just the ending itself? I've given more thought to this question than you can begin to imagine.” ~ Janet Fitch

“Of course mothers and daughters with strong personalities might see the world from very different points of view.” ~Katherine Howe

I have disowned and been disowned by my true family in recent months, so I’ve been concentrating on loving and caring for my “other” family. It’s also true when they say “You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends”. I used to think that this was only true for natural families, but now I know it’s true for adopted or fostered families. - July Elfi
