Burned Biscuits..........
(Inspiring Story)
When I was a little child, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I’ll never forget what he said: “Baby, I love burned biscuits.”
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she’s real tired. And besides – a little burned biscuit never hurt anyone!”
You know, life is full of imperfect things… and imperfect people. I’m not the best housekeeper or cook. What I’ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each other’s faults – and choosing to celebrate each other’s differences – is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.
And that’s my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He’s the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn’t a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!

The Tale Unbound Loyalty- Hachikō, a Dog Who Waited for 9 Years for His Master's Return
In 1924, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor at the University of Tokyo, took an abandoned dog into his home and named him Hachikō. The dog was a golden brown Akita. Hachikō used to greet the professor daily at the Shibuya Railway Station. The dog and his owner followed this routine until May 1925, when the professor suffered from cerebral hemorrhage and died. The professor never returned to the station but the Hachikō waited for him for the next nine (9) years.
Hachikō used to come at the station and waited for his beloved owner everyday. Other commuters who had seen the bond of the dog with his owner felt sorry for the dog and started feeding the poor dog at the station. One of Ueno’s students published articles about Hachikō’s ultimate loyalty towards his owner. The Japanese people would refer to Hachikō to inspire their children.
Hachikō died on March 8, 1935 because of terminal cancer and infections. His remains have been preserved at the National Science Museum of Japan, Tokyo. A Bronze statue of Hachikō was erected at the Shibuya station. Each year on April 8th, dog lovers come at the Shibuya station to honor Hachikō for his loyalty towards his owner.

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, “What is this?” The Son replied “It is a crow”. After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, “What is this?” The Son said “Father, I have just now told you “It’s a crow”. After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?” At this time some expression of irritation was felt in the Son’s tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. “It’s a crow, a crow”.A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, “What is this?”
This time the Son shouted at his Father, “Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ‘IT IS A CROW’. Are you not able to understand this?”
A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child”.
While the little child asked him 23 times “What is this”, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed. So..
If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents.From today say this aloud, “I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.

| TRUE LOVE ..(A Doctor's note) Must Read n share It was approximately 8.30 a.m. on a busy morning when an elderly gentleman in his eighties arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9.00 a.m. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat. I knew it would take more than an hour before someone would to able to attend to him. I saw him check his watch anxiously for the time and decided to evaluate his wound since I was not busy with another patient. On examination, the wound was well healed. Hence, I talked to one of the doctors to get the supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. We began to engage in a conversation while I was taking care of his wound. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment later as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no and said that he needed to go to the nursing home to have breakfast with his wife. I inquired about her health. He told me that she had been in the nursing home for a while as she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease. I probed further and asked if she would be upset if he was slightly late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was and she had not been able to recognize him since five years ago. I asked him in surprise, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back my tears as he left. I had goose bumps on my arm, and I thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. |

A man’s daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her father.
When the minister arrived, he found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows.
An empty chair sat beside his bed. The minister assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit.
“I guess you were expecting me, he said.
‘No, who are you?” said the father.
The minister told him his name and then remarked, “I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew I was going to show up.”
“Oh yeah, the chair,” said the bedridden man. “Would you mind closing the door?” Puzzled, the minister shut the door.
“I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter,” said the man. “But all of my life I have never known how to pray.”
“At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head.”
“I abandoned any attempt at prayer,” the old man continued, “until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me, “Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus.”
“Here is what I suggest,” he said.
“Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It’s not spooky because he promised, ‘I will be with you always’.”
“Then just speak to him in the same way you’re doing with me right now.”
“So, I tried it and I’ve liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day.
I’m careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she’d either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.”
The minister was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey.
Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and then returned to the church.
Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her daddy had died that afternoon.
Did he die in peace?” he asked.
Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me how much he loved me, and kissed me on the cheek.
When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him dead.
There was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed.
What do you make of that?” The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said, “I wish we could all go like that.”

I can ignore any pain because a woman is created to bear all kinds of pain but somehow I cannot bear the pain of being physically or emotionally cheated by the only man I love. But some day if you cheat me and break my trust for another woman then also I will forgive you and consider myself lucky for the simple reason that you never loved me with your heart and soul. I will be content with the fact that you never deserved my love and if you ever loved me soulfully you would never give up on me for someone else. I will be strong and I will move on with the hope that soon I will find new love and my true love… |

| Find someone who’ll never get tired of kissing you everyday, who’ll hug you when you are jealous, who’ll understandingly stay silent when you are mad, who’ll squeeze your hand when you are not in the mood, who’ll plan and imagine the future with you in it. Don’t settle for less than that. |
Trust

Sometimes its hard for me,
To say what I feel. Emotions are things I oftenfind, Are easier to conceal. I know that I should trust you, After all, you are my friends, But trust is something that i still find, Is hard to comprehend.
As it stands, to this present day,
There is only one place that I trust, That my hopes and dreams, My tears and fears, Will never be repeated or discussed.
And in this place I discovered,
No more than three years ago, I find that the words now come easier, But from the nib of a pen they flow.
Then, once the words are halted,
The entry comes to it’s end. I close the pages of my Diary, My most trustworthy friend |
You Can't Always Rely On Others

| I learned the hard way that you can't always count on others to respect my feeling, even when i respect theirs. being a good person to others will not always result in them returning that goodness back to you. You can only control the things you do and allow your actions and words to speak volumes about the type of person YOU are. As for the people in your life, you must choose to accept them for who they are or choose to walk away. |
