The most painful Goodbyes

It's hard to say goodbye to the streets. It's all how you do it. You can pass by and say, 'What's happening?' and keep it moving, but it's a certain element that'll never be able to roll with you once you get to this level, because that's the separation of it all.~ Snoop Dogg

I believe everyone should have a good death. You know, with your grandchildren around you, a bit of sobbing. Because after all, tears are appropriate on a death bed. And you say goodbye to your loved ones, making certain that one of them has been left behind to look after the shop.~ Terry Pratchett

Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything. It's the time we spent together that matters, not how we left it.~ Trey Parker

It's time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I'd much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure.~ Ernie Harwell

To My Daughter

To My Daughter, I love you so, you are so special, I hope you know. With every day that passes by, you're more the twinkle in my eye. So loving, so giving, a heart of gold, always my baby, even when I'm old. Your love shines through, for all to see, I feel so proud, you are a part of me, I love so much.

“The expression in her eyes was bitter as nightshade. 'You ask me about regret? Let me tell you a few things about regret, my darling. There is no end to it. You cannot find the beginning of the chain that brought us from there to here. Should you regret the whole chain, and the air between, or each link separately, as if you could uncouple them? Do you regret the beginning which ended so badly, or just the ending itself? I've given more thought to this question than you can begin to imagine.” ~ Janet Fitch

“Of course mothers and daughters with strong personalities might see the world from very different points of view.” ~Katherine Howe

If Someone Really Loves You

Someone who really loves you sees what a mess you can be, how moody you can get, how hard you are to handle, but still wants you in their life.

“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

Some of you may not believe this I have yet to experience it but I'm waiting. Don't give up on me wherever you are. These words capture my experience precisely. Even when words are not spoken, we know, we understand, we care and we love.
