Life can be difficult at times

“The thing about life is that you must survive. Life is going to be difficult, and dreadful things will happen. What you do is move along, get on with it, and be tough. Not in the sense of being mean to others, but being tough with yourself and making a deadly effort not to be defeated.” ~ Katharine Hepburn

I find being compassionately loving towards myself now that the storms are over is a definite must. I do this by forgiving and loving myself and others and by coming to a full understanding that my struggles made me who I am today and I have gained so much insight and wisdom. But during my most difficult turbulent times, I had to be tough on myself and dig deep into my well of self severe battle, because I wouldn’t of survived. I wouldn’t be here today, alive. ~ Brigitte Nicole

One Who Loves You True

Find someone who openly communicates their feelings. Someone who realizes that you’re not perfect and never expects you to be. Someone who would never want to lose you and feels so blessed to be with you. One who gives their heart completely. Someone who says I love you and means it. Last but not least, find someone who looks forward to a future with you and with each and every new day, falls in love with you all over again. — Brigitte Nicole

Real love

Real love is not based on romance,Candle light dinner and walks along the beach. In fact, it is based on Respect, Compromise, Care and Trust. - Unknown.

Never leave a true relation for few faults… Nobody is perfect. Nobody is correct at the end. Affection is always greater than perfection.

The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.~ Thomas Merton

Some think love can be measured by the amount of butterflies in their tummy. Others think love can be measured in bunches of flowers, or by using the words 'for ever.' But love can only truly be measured by actions. It can be a small thing, such as peeling an orange for a person you love because you know they don't like doing it.~ Marian Keyes
