INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut the lemon in 4 parts but not to the end because they should not separate. Put some salt on the pieces and place the lemon in your kitchen. This trick will neutralize the bad odors and will give a wonderful and refreshing citric smell to your kitchen. Also, it will eliminate germs and bacteria.
MORE USES OF LEMONS:
Lemons have so many uses and when it comes to the home, they are a great cleaning product that is not expensive.
1. FRESHEN THE FRIDGE
Remove refrigerator odors with ease. Dab lemon juice on a cotton ball or sponge and leave it in the fridge for several hours. Make sure to toss out any malodorous items that might be causing the bad smell.
2. USE LEMON PEELS AS A SHOE DEODORIZER
You can get rid of smelly shoes by putting lemon peels in them. Dry them well and then put the peel of half an orange in each shoe. Leave the shoes for 24 hours. The peels naturally absorb bad odors while infusing shoes with their fresh scent.
3. MULTIPURPOSE SPRAY WITH CITRUS FRUIT PEELS
To make a multipurpose detergent, cut the washed peels of an orange and a lemon in pieces. Put them in a glass container, adding 20 grams of baking soda and a glass of white wine vinegar. Leave it to rest for ten days, then filter and transfer to a spray bottle. Shake and use it to clean surfaces, floors and windows.
