7 Things You Should Never Do Before Making Love

It doesn’t matter how smooth you think you are in the bedroom, everyone is capable of making a mistake that can potentially weaken — if not completely kill — the moment, both before and after. In fact, studies show that between two love partners, there is a good chance one of them is guilty of at least one of the gaffes on our list.

Take a look at our seven pre-love making glitches which can disrupt any session, even briefly. The more of them you’re capable of, the more likely you’re capable of diminishing what should be a great roll in the hay.

7- Stay away from antihistamines if you’re expecting to get busy. In order to relieve nasal congestion, these products dry out mucus membranes. Unfortunately, they can also dry out other critical parts of the body. That’s right, that part. And no matter how much you want to, the one part that needs to go along may not. Sufficient lube might help, but it may not.

6- A little drinky poo can send certain waves to the brain that stimulate arousal. But alcohol is more of a depressant and is more likely to diminish sensation or it just might put you in a deep sleep before the action gets started. A study at the University of Missouri-St. Louis showed both men and women who indulge in light drinking beforehand experienced difficulty enjoying the moment, let alone achieving orgasm.

5- While brushing your teeth before jumping in the sack is a courteous gesture, don’t use an electric toothbrush or alcohol-based mouthwash. Studies have shown spinning bristles will create minuscule tears in the gums. Alcohol in mouthwashes can dry out and irritate mucosa. Both these conditions enhance the possibility of STDs.

4- Women who like to manage their hedges should try to get it done at least the night before a romp. Shaving exfoliates the skin’s top layer making it and hair follicles highly sensitive. There can be rashes and tiny cuts, all conditions leaving you vulnerable to infections like HPV and herpes. If you do shave, the skin needs time to heal. It’s better to use a multi-blade so that you get closer shaves in less swipes. To manage inflammation, use a thin layer of one percent hydrocortisone cream. To be on the safe side, reapply a second layer within 12 hours in case of any irritation.

3- It may sound $exy as all get-out to use food during closeness, but you increase the risk of yeast infections when you apply any sugar-based product to your sensitive areas. Yeast and sugar love one another and when you use products like chocolate and whipped cream as lubricants, you increase the possibility of post-contact yeast infections. So while it can be fun, clean up before you start interlocking parts.

2- Foods like chocolate, oysters and strawberries get mad props for enhancing the mood. But it’s surprising how little conversation we have about foods that can do the exact opposite. Spicy food can impact vaginal taste and odor. Certain foods can cause bad breath, bloating and gas. Make sure all parties wash their hands and wash out their mouths after a spicy meal thoroughly as residue has been known to set genitals afire.

1- While we’re fixated on the subject of food, indulging in a heavy meal isn’t the greatest idea either. Do you have a five course dinner before hitting the cycle? Do you chug down an ice cream sundae prior to a visit to the gym? Foods can slow you down, especially carbs, fats and sugars. It’s why a meal can make you drowsy or lethargic. While it’s not always easy to arrange, if you want to be at — ahem — full attention, eat a smaller meal beforehand.

Do Your Eyes Feel Strained And Tired? Here What You Need To Know To Treat It.

Most office jobs these days require a lot of time staring at a computer screen. This can lead to tired eyes and eye strain, which can make you less productive and cause some pretty severe irritation. There are plenty of ways to reduce eye strain by simply changing your workspace lighting, cleaning and changing the way your monitor is positioned, as well as taking frequent breaks and blinking more regularly.

1. Eye Massageeye-massage
To reduce eye strain, gently massage your eyelids daily. It will improve blood circulation to the eyes and also relax the muscles around your eyes. At the same time, it will stimulate the tear glands, which will help prevent dry eyes.
Use your fingers to gently massage your eyelids and muscles above the eyebrows for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Gently massage your lower eyelid against the lower bone for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Massage the temple and upper cheek bones, also.
Do this 1 or 2 times daily.
2. Palming

Palming is great to relax strained eyes, especially while reading or spending too much time in front of your desktop, laptop or television screen. The main goal of palming is to create a restful state for your eyes so they do not become tired.
  1. Sit up straight in a comfortable position.
  2. Warm your hands by rubbing them together rapidly.
  3. Close your eyes and place your warm palms over them, without applying pressure on the eyelids.
  4. Relax and enjoy the darkness for about 30 seconds.
  5. Slowly open your eyes and look around.
  6. Repeat the process 3 to 5 times at a sitting.
  7. Follow this technique frequently throughout the day.
3 Warm Compress
Warm-Compress
  • Dip a soft cloth in warm water and wring out the excess moisture.
  • Lie down comfortably, close your eyes and place the warm towel over your eyelids.
  • Relax and breathe slowly for 1 minute.
  • Change the washcloth and repeat the process 3 or 4 times.
  • Follow this treatment 1 or 2 times daily.
4. Sunning
Sunning is another beneficial technique to relax strained and tired eyes. The vital life energies of the sun are good for your eyes. Sunning also will help your body produce vitamin D, which is important for your overall health. To avoid tanning, do your sunning between 8a.m. and 10a.m.

  1. Stand in a sunny place in the early morning.
  2. Close your eyes and allow the sunlight to fall on your eyelids.
  3. Feel the warmth on your eyes and slowly move your eyes up and down, right to left and clockwise and counter-clockwise.
  4. Repeat this process for a total of 5 minutes.
  5. Follow it with palming.
  6. Do this once daily.
5. Cold Water
Cold water can also be very effective in relieving mild eye strain. It can improve blood circulation, relax tired muscles around your eyes, and reduce eye swelling and puffiness.
  • Splash some cold water on your face and closed eyes whenever your eyes feel strained or tired. It will have a quick relaxing impact on your eyes.
  • For a more concentrated remedy, dip a soft washcloth in cold water and wring out the extra moisture. Place the cold washcloth on your closed eyelids for 1 minute. Repeat as needed.
  • If you have puffiness along with strained eyes, use a cold compress. Wrap a few ice cubes in a clean cloth. Place it on your closed eyelids. The puffiness will decrease after 5 to 10 minutes of application.
