What a woman should have & What every woman should know.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE: Enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to. Something perfect to wear if the employer, or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour. A youth she’s content to leave behind. A past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to retelling it in her old age. A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra. One friend who always makes her laugh and one who lets her cry. A good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family. Eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored. A feeling of control over her destiny.

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW: How to fall in love without losing herself. How to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend, without ruining the friendship. When to try harder and WHEN TO WALK AWAY. That she can’t change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents, That her childhood may not have been perfect but it’s over. What she would and wouldn’t do for love or more. How to live alone even if she doesn’t like it. Whom she can trust, whom she can’t, and why she shouldn’t take it personally. Where to go, be it to her best friend’s kitchen table or a charming Inn in the wood when her soul needs soothing. What she can and can’t accomplish in a day, a month and a
year.

What is Beauty?

Beauty is what you feel about yourself, not about what you see in the mirror.

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams. ~ Ashley Smith

Real beauty is to be true to oneself. That's what makes me feel good. ~ Laetitia Casta

The more often we see the things around us - even the beautiful and wonderful things - the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds - even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less. ~ Joseph B. Wirthlin

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Definition of falling in love?

Fall in love with someone who deserves your heart, not someone who plays with it.

Red is such an interesting color to correlate with emotion, because it's on both ends of the spectrum. On one end you have happiness, falling in love, infatuation with someone, passion, all that. On the other end, you've got obsession, jealousy, danger, fear, anger and frustration. ~ Taylor Swift

Falling in love, romance, matters of the heart - when you fall in love, on some biochemical level you know there is a chance it won't work out. It's ingrained in us that if you take such an enormous risk on someone with your heart that it might not pay off. I gamble all my chips and I might actually lose everything. ~ Rachael Taylor

Falling in love and having a relationship are two different things. ~ Keanu Reeves

Falling in love is awesome, but I'm never drawn to happy songs per se, so whenever you sit down to write a heartbreak song and you're happily in love, it's like, 'OK, now I have to go back to a sad place to get something good.' ~ Miranda Lambert

I’m deserving. I know you are for sure. I can promise you that I am quite serious when it comes to matters of the heart and don’t ever “play” ’cause I don’t like to be played with. “Do unto others ….” is how I try to live my life. I hope that works for you. ~ Mark Stewart
