When we feel incomplete

“When we feel incomplete, we might search for somebody to complete us. When, after a few years or a few months of a relationship, we find that we’re still unfulfilled, we may blame our partners and take up with somebody more promising. This can go on and on until we admit that while a partner can add sweet dimensions to our lives, we, each of us, are responsible for our own fulfillment.”~ Tom Robbins

We should certainly use what inner resources we have but it’s not true or right to think we are ultimately alone and of little use to others. A healthy relationship brings the gift of sharing our troubles and supporting each other throughout the ever-changing journey of life. We should never underestimate the power and value of visibly caring for and cherishing our loved ones, even a kind word or good deed for a stranger can make a big difference. These are difficult times for many so it’s important to remind ourselves that we get what we give and together we are stronger. ~ Tommy Cowap

I know who I am.

I know who I am. I am not perfect. I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world. But I'm one of them.~ Mary J. Blige

Love myself I do. Not everything, but I love the good as well as the bad. I love my crazy lifestyle, and I love my hard discipline. I love my freedom of speech and the way my eyes get dark when I'm tired. I love that I have learned to trust people with my heart, even if it will get broken. I am proud of everything that I am and will become.~ Johnny Weir

Commitment is a big part of what I am and what I believe. How committed are you to winning? How committed are you to being a good friend? To being trustworthy? To being successful? How committed are you to being a good father, a good teammate, a good role model? There's that moment every morning when you look in the mirror: Are you committed, or are you not?~ LeBron James

I am not trying to give an image of a fairytale, perfect, everything else, I am just being myself.~ Rebecca Loos

If you carry old bricks from your past relationship to your new one

If you carry old bricks from your past relationship to your new one, you will build the same house that fell apart before.

When you carry news bricks, you will build new friendship and begin a new and positive life, watching to the present and future. ~ Catherine Graetz

All bridges must be burned before we travel on for a new and happier future. ~ Robert Guinn

“When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.”
~ Jess C. Scott, The Intern
